Peru: A Chronicle of Deception

This paper (which is also available to download) argues and demonstrates that the State has acted in bad faith by cancelling its plan to create the National Park Muja Ichigkat which had been agreed with Awajún and Wampis communities. These communities and their organizations have continually demanded the return of the proposed establishment of the National Park and the cancellation of mining concessions without response from the authorities.
